About This Role

We are looking to hire a talented and creative Training and Education Specialist to develop and administer learning curricula and content to further enhance our customer experience.

The Training and Education Specialist will help create and deliver training programs to Sierra customers to boost adoption of and competency with the Sierra platform. This team member in this will also be responsible for the development of technical training which includes the production, hosting and delivery of face-to-face, virtual and online training materials and presentations. These materials will include training guides and videos for our knowledge base and Sierra Academy.

The team member in this role will work closely with our customer base and will lead both group trainings and one-on-one trainings. They will also be charged with management of our Sierra Success Facebook Mastermind Group, responding as needed to customer posts and guiding them to our customer support queue when appropriate. This is an important role that will need to work closely with both the Success Team and the Product Team to continuously monitor all of our customers’ training and education needs.

  • You understand the customer and can create educational programs that cater to different needs based on where they are in their journey
  • You have a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences
  • You are an effective, engaging communicator with the ability to convey a message to a classroom
  • You have the ability to implement a “Train the Trainer” model
  • You love to converse with customers in an effort to learn their educational needs and how we can accommodate
  • You thrive in a remote work environment and understand the importance of proactive communication and individual accountability
  • You have 1 to 3+ years working in customer support or customer success (Saas experience is a bonus).
  • Experience providing support in a SaaS environment.
