Earn as you learn…Attend CRMA training as part of your work schedule to gain your CRMA certification
Learn the 12 core functions of SUD’s Counseling and work towards the ADCA, CADC, and LADC
The ideal candidate will have:
Certified Residential Medication Aid (CRMA) certification preferred but nor required to start. Training Available
Valid Driver’s license required
CPR/First Aid certification required within 2 months of hire
MOAB certification required within 6 months of hire
High school diploma or equivalency plus general knowledge of substance abuse counseling preferred.
Experience in residential care setting preferred
One year direct service provisions in health or social services program preferred
Assists with ensuring the safety of the residents/patients, while helping to meet their emotional, physical, recreational, and mental health needs.
Communicates in a therapeutic manner, uses de-escalation techniques, provides crisis intervention skills and contributes to individual treatment plans.
Encourages and observes residents/patients in performing activities of daily living.
Observes and documents resident/patient behaviors and activities. Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to clinical staff.
