The University of Kentucky Office of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement seeks to hire a Senior Research Analyst. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Prospect Research and Management at the University of Kentucky, the Senior Research Analyst is responsible for identifying, researching, and analyzing information attributed to individuals, foundations and corporations (potential major, special and advanced gift prospects) in the preparation and presentation of various reports to be used by the University of Kentucky Philanthropy staff, college philanthropy officers, Deans, key volunteers, and the President’s Office. 

The Senior Research Analyst provides necessary research to carry out various fund-raising programs and objectives on behalf of the University of Kentucky, while ensuring that all research conducted is accurate, comprehensive and produced on a timely basis. The Senior Research Analyst will assist the Senior Director of Prospect Research and Management with managing the day-to-day operation of the Research Department and serves as a mentor for the Research Analysts. 

The Senior Research Analyst must at all times exhibit professional conduct and ethics. She/he must demonstrate utmost respect for the confidentiality of the information and act with honesty, integrity and accountability in every effort they undertake on behalf of the University of Kentucky and its constituents.
