Job Description Summary:

We are offering an opportunity for a Patient Scheduler to join our team. The Patient Scheduler is responsible for patient related activities, which include patient scheduling, patient check-in, checkout, and follow up activities. **This is a per diem position**
Responsible for all scheduling activities associated with the treatment of patients
Responds to emergent scheduling requests communicating with providers, patients and involved departments for schedule manipulation
Schedules new patient consults and follow up appointments included ancillary tests as needed
Contacts and schedules patients in a timely manner
Works collaboratively with the clinical team providing support based on the needs of the department
The ideal candidate will have:
A high school diploma or GED preferred
Up to one year related work experience preferred
Proficient in a suite of Microsoft Office Applications
Ability to work independently, effective time management and problem solving skills, able to manage multiple priorities
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Confident and effective oral and written communication skills
