Position works within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic at Good Samaritan Hospital. The Patient Relations Assistant is responsible for registration, check in, and checkout of clinic patients following the AIDET model.

Will model the universities DIRECT values. Identify opportunities to provide a positive customer experience by monitoring wait times and resolve patient complaints.

Position is responsible for obtaining prior authorizations for medications and procedures and communicating with insurance providers to verify coverage and benefits.

Position includes other clerical and medical records duties including chart prep and break down and fax line management. Must be self-motivated, have a good work ethic, and be driven to learn and excel at all aspects of the position.

Will be responsible for numerous other duties as needed based on clinic needs.
