Under the Patient Advocate Supervisor’s direction, the Patient Financial Services Representative – is responsible for screening patients for Medicaid, financial assistance, and disability, if applicable. The representative is expected to be familiar with the hospital and departmental policies and procedures, utilize all hospital and department resources to accomplish the assigned job duties. The representative will participate in unit and Enterprise activities to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. The representative must be certified CAC for Medicaid enrollment within the first 60 days of employment.
