Headquartered in Dallas, TX, NPact is the leader in the development and delivery of cloud-based software solutions for the nonprofit and foundation sectors.   This position will report to the Director of Quality Assurance and be part of an exciting and growing development organization by assisting in the improvement of software quality and tools through testing and process iteration.   The engineer will assist in the development and implementation of the quality assurance process through the entire development and release cycle. 

What you will be doing
  • Document test cases from agile sprint teams
  • Perform testing for sprint stories
  • Record test progress and results
  • Create automated tests in the NPact testing framework
  • Discover bugs in software through exploratory testing
  • Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout the test cycle
  • Perform manual and automated testing
  • Research and analyze new product features
  • Review and assess user interfaces for standards of consistency and functionality 

What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3-4 years testing experience with manual and test automation
  • Experience using a test case management tool
  • Experience with at least one UI test automation framework (Selenium preferred)
  • Experience in API testing
  • Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Experience working in agile tools (Jira preferred)
  • Ability to document test failures with detailed steps
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Open to learning new technologies
  • Self-driven individual with patience
