Job Description:

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting in the facilitation of prior authorizations (imaging/procedures) and referrals, quality projects, assisting peers and medical staff when needed.
Secondary Vaccine Coordinator.
Will need to be able to critically think and communicate and educate staff members on the standardization of work flows within the practice, lead GEMBA projects, and assist in the lab as needed.
Under the supervision of medical staff, performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
Leads team members of an assigned area or function by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities.
Serves as a positive role model for team members by working with them to promote teamwork and cooperation.
Assists with coordinating services, prioritizing assignments and workflow, and promoting situational decision-making/problem solving.
Performs responsibilities of underlying job. Takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues.
Coordination of coverage to meet clinic/med staff and patient needs.
Responsible to keep all clinic supply (instruments, DME, etc.) on hand to support clinic need.
Set and lead daily/weekly huddles, when needed.
Support clinic workflows.

The ideal candidate will have:

3-5 years of experience preferred
Strong skill sets in Primary care, immunizations, Immpact, Medical record EMR
Excellent communication skills with all levels and amongst team leaders
Works well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility and proven ability to handle multiple tasks.
Comfortable in a practice environment/culture that promotes ongoing change toward process improvement.
