We’re currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the position of Hospice Clinical Supervisor. As the Hospice Supervisor, you will supervise daily staff activities of the South Hospice Care Team based out of Augusta. This position is full time/exempt with the potential for admin on-call duties.

Positions Highlights:

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Active Maine RN license or ability to obtain the same in a timely fashion, required.
• At least 3-5 year of clinical experience in hospice, strongly preferred
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience, preferred

Job Description:

Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.

Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.

Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
