Fetal Sonographer/UKHC

Kentucky Children’s Hospital has an immediate, full-time opening for an experienced fetal cardiac sonographer. Kentucky Children’s Hospital at the University of Kentucky is a 143 bed facility with a 12 bed pediatric intensive care unit, 12 bed progressive care unit, and over 60 bed neonatal intensive care unit. Our pediatric echocardiography lab is accredited by the IAC in pediatric transthoracic, transesophageal and fetal echocardiography. The University of Kentucky has recently partnered with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in a Joint Pediatric Heart Care Program designed to be “one program, two sites” with plans for significant growth and collaboration. In addition to providing exceptional heart care (including open heart surgery), collaborative research and educational opportunities are also anticipated. The qualified candidate will join our energized, dynamic team performing high-quality, diagnostic echocardiograms in a wide variety of settings to include inpatient, outpatient and off-site clinics. Requires call rotations and some travel.
