The Employment Consultant will proactively build strong relationships with hiring officials and departments throughout the University of Kentucky, including the College of Medicine, Ambulatory clinics, Chandler and Good Samaritan Hospitals. This role will provide guidance to hiring officials on job requirements, recruitment strategies, and hiring timelines to ensure desired applicant pools. This position will serve as a coach through training and consultation for targeted hiring departments. 
This position will provide a high-level of customer service for hiring departments, including posting job requisitions and approving hiring proposals. The Employment Consultant will research and recommend applicable selection resources and tools to hiring officials.  This position will guide hiring officials through the selection process, including providing Targeted Selection interview guides, promoting and conducting search committee orientation and effective hiring practices training, aid in final hiring decision-making process, as well as promote best practices within the University.  The Employment Consultant will lead or participate in workgroups and projects to contribute to the continuous improvement of our department services and the hiring processes at the University.
