Job Summary:
MaineGeneral Health is seeking a passionate and strategic Recruitment Leader. In this role, you will lead a high-performing recruitment team with a track record of high level collaboration and partnership with leaders across the organization. If you have a passion for engaging, supporting, and empowering those you lead – this is the role for you.

This is a high-profile position within a hard-working, innovative and fun-loving, HR department.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record of successful, strategic HR/Recruitment leadership
• Experience in the healthcare industry (preferred)
• A passion for working in an environment where the priorities shift from minute to minute

Job Description:

Develops and implements departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.

Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.

Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
