Overview

The UK Department of Psychiatry seeks a counselor/therapist to provide individual, group and/or family therapy in a large psychiatry clinic with 26,000+ patient visits per year.

This individual will be part of a multidisciplinary team of providers to provide comprehensive mental health care for patients in an Ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities will include providing therapy and related services to new and established patients in a collaborative, academic environment, timely preparation of chart notes and submission of billing through the electronic medical record, participating in adult and/or child team meetings and care as well as participate in staff meetings.

This individual will not provide direct supervision to students and residents, but will interact with them to provide clinical care.

Qualified candidates will have experience providing direct counseling/therapy to patients with a focus on patients greater than or equal to 18 years of age.
