The Chief Operating Office (COO) is the second in command for the organization-MCMH. The COO is tasked with implementing daily operations, aligned with the mission, goals, and the organization’s strategies and works with the Chief Executive Officer. The COO is an integral member of the executive team that is committed to a common purpose and strategic goals and will assist in the quality and continuous improvement of the hospital and its owned and affiliated clinics. Assists in the short/long-range strategic planning, legal and regulatory compliance, provider recruiting, customer satisfaction, and for the provision of professional and/or technical and clinical expertise.
Education: Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or other healthcare discipline is required.
Experience: Five years recent experience in a senior administrative position in a rural hospital is required.
Must have the ability to sit, stand, bend, push/pull up to 80 pounds and lift up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations. Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
