We are presently recruiting an Admin Assistant to join our Pathology Support team at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. This is an incredible opportunity to provide administrative support in a unique department with Pathology Support. The position would work in a small office of 2 staff supporting a team of 4 doctors that are easy to work with and highly engaged! The ideal candidate is someone that is energetic and highly professional.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Administrative Assistant experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
Ability to manage high volume clerical tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
Maintains documentation of claims processed as part of the daily claims reconciliation process.
Provides clerical support for pathologists as needed. Performs administrative duties as assigned, including answering phone calls, information retrieval, filing, scheduling, and data entry.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains office as needed.
Manages the transfer of the necessary medical information to reference laboratories for consultation.
